2016 Olympics in Rio

This weekend is the start of the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The opening ceremony will be held at the Maracana Stadium and will start at midnight UK time on Friday 5th August.

Andy Murray has been chosen to be the flag bearer for the UK, it will be swimmer Michael Phelps for the U.S.A and pentathlete Yana Marques will have the honour of bearing the flag for the host Brazil.

We have 366 athletes competing at this years games including some of the nations favourites such as our flag bearer Andy Murray, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis, Tom Daley and Bradley Wiggins. This is the largest number of athletes we have had compete in an Olympics outside of the UK since Barcelona 1992.

Greg Rutherford, athletics champion looks great in this grey check pattern double breasted suit, white and navy thin stripe print shirt with a white collar and matching silver and lilac check print tie and pocket square.
Andy Murray looked very dapper in this navy blue suit, white shirt, burgundy patterned tie, silver lapel pin and white patterned pocket square.

This oversized black bow tie, black suit and white shirt looked great on Mo Farah the distance runner.

Tour de France winner and gold medallist Sir Bradley Wiggins looks extremely smart in this black suit and waistcoat, white shirt and matching black pin dot tie and pocket square.

Louis Smith's pink tie and pocket square really brighten up his grey suit and waistcoat.

Tom Daley looks fabulous in his charcoal grey suit with rolled back cuffs, white shirt and blue slim tie.
