New Movies in 2017

Watching a movie can be a great way to relax, a wonderful hobby or form of escapism to get away from the stresses of the real world. This year has a lot of promising film releases coming up so we have picked a selection of movies that are being released throughout the year so you will have inspiration for something new to watch.

A Monster Calls is fantasy drama following the tale of a young boy named Conor (Lewis MacDougall) who is bullied by his peers at school, and is pitied by everyone he knows due to his mother's (Felicity Jones) terminal illness which he is struggling to come to terms with. A monster suddenly (Liam Neeson) appears to help cheer him up.

Fifty Shades Darker the sequel to the extremely popular Fifty Shades Of Grey will be released on the 10th February. In this raunchy romance Anastasia Steele against her better judgement rekindles the steamy sexual affair with high flying business man Christian Grey. But as time passes she has to deal with the anger  of the woman that came before her and make the most important decision of her life.

Fifty Shades fanatic? Why not show your enthusiasm by wearing our Van Buck Fifty Shades Of Grey Platinum Silk Tie, it would look great with a classic black suit for a formal occasion, or a navy blue blazer, pale blue shirt and a pair of beige chinos for a smart casual look.

Beauty and The Beast is a live action retelling of the children's classic animated film, starring Emma Watson. The story is of Belle a beautiful and intelligent woman captured by the beast and trapped in the castle. She makes friends with the enchanted staff, Lumiere the candle stick, Cogsworth the clock and Mrs. Potts the teapot. The longer she spends with the beast she realises his kind nature and begins to fall for him. It will be released on the 17th March.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 out on the 28th of April follows the team traipsing across the cosmos on a quest to discover Peter Quill's true parentage. Of course they encounter a new threat a long the way, old foes become friends and the new found family continues to grow with characters from the original comics.

Alien Covenant is the second prequel to the original film Alien following Prometheus. Aboard the ship covenant the crew are bound for a distant planet which they believe to be a paradise, however they discover a dangerous world inhabited by David a synthetic android who was once a member of the crew on the Prometheus expedition. This thrilling sci-fi will be released 19th May.

Wonder Woman is the fourth instalment of the DC extended universe and will be out on the 2nd June. This film shows the journey of how wonder woman comes to be. When an American pilot crashes on the island of Themyscira he meets Diana and tells her about the world war that is going on, so she leaves her home to become the infamous Wonder Woman and bring about the end of the war.

Star Wars Episode VIII will be the second film in the sequel series following on from the last film in the series The Force Awakens. It will be released 15th December. Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga. This film does star the late Carrie Fisher and marks the end of her iconic part in the film series.
