How to dress for work - Autumn edit

As the days start to get darker and more gloomy and with Christmas looming everyone could do with a pick me up. So why not cheer yourself up with some new stylish additions to your wardrobe. A new accessory can transform last years clothing into new on trend outfits. Check patterns have become the new stripes, neckerchiefs are more popular than ever and 70's style is creeping back. Duffel coats are the height of fashion, velvet is making a come back and metallic fabrics are all the rage. Especially prominent colours of the moment are sky blue and a variety of red and pinks.

Outfit Inspiration

If you are looking for some inspiration on what to wear to work this Autumn look no further. Here are some suggestions from us at ww.fabties.com on how to follow this seasons fashion trends at work.

A great alternative to a neckerchief is a cravat. They give off the same casual yet debonair feel but can also be slightly more formal, making them perfect for a work environment. This Van Buck Tiny Paisley Navy and Red Patterned Cravat would be the perfect addition to your office wear and the colours are very fashionable this season. You can see our collection of casual cravats here: http://bit.ly/2dRuIfc and our plain self tie cravats here: http://bit.ly/2eIXhue

Combine two integral styles by adding a hint of pink and check pattern to your outfit with this Van Buck Dress Stewart Tartan Tie. Wear it with a white shirt and some dark navy blue brushed cotton trousers for a smart casual office look.

Wear our Plain Sky Blue Cotton Bow Tie by Knightsbridge with a black velvet dinner jacket, a white shirt and some black trousers for a very dapper look.

This Plain Platinum Slim Tie  is made from satin polyester so has a metallic effect. It would look great with a pair of our Plain Black Trouser Braces, a pale blue shirt, some black trousers and a black duffel coat.
