How to Wear Cufflinks

Cufflinks can be worn with either single or double cuffs. You should ensure the holes on the cuffs are aligned with the insides of the cuffs touching each other so that the hemmed edges of the cuffs are facing outwards from the wrist. Otherwise you can overlap the cuffs with one on top of the other which gives a more stream lined and business-like look.

Cufflinks are usually kept for formal and semi-formal occasions and worn with a suit and tie. However you can wear cufflinks whenever you want to as long as you have a shirt with button holes in the cuffs rather than button fastenings.

We have a great range of cufflinks to choose from. We sell cufflinks in matching patterns to the ties, bow ties and cravats that we offer, as well as cufflinks perfect for weddings and a variety of other styles.

Outfit Inspiration

We have put together some great outfits to give you examples of how you can wear cufflinks to different occasions.

Whether you are a member of the wedding party or a guest we think this black suit would look great with a white shirt, our Mens Black and Green Swirl Bow Tie and Silver Plated Knot Cufflinks.

If you are going to the races why not wear this grey suit and waistcoat with our Paisley Navy Blue Cufflinks and Van Buck Blue Fleur De Lis Motif Navy Tie

You can wear cufflinks with this slightly less formal outfit of navy trousers, a white shirt, our Mens Polka Dot Burgundy Tie and Burgundy Polka Dot Cufflinks which would be perfect for the office.

A Day At The Races

A day at the races is a great way to enjoy yourself and really showcase your style. With Royal Ascot coming up in June we thought it would be a great idea to give you some outfit inspiration.

We are of the opinion that it is always best to dress to impress and be prepared for any occasion. A suit is an obvious races day staple which we firmly stand by. This season its all about your accessories.

Why not take some inspiration from the royal family and celebrities attire from past races.

The players of the Celtic football team enjoyed at day at the Grand National in April this year and had great style between them. They all wore nicely fitted suits and waistcoats in a variety of colours. They all opted for a neck tie with some wearing skinny and some original.

Owain Walbyoff joined his wife Natalie Pinkman, F1 presenter, at the Grand National and looked very dapper in a royal blue suit and paisley print tie.

Prince Harry and his friend Jake Warren looked extremely classy and stylish at Royal Ascot last year. Both men wore black tailcoats and top hats with a white rose as a boutonniere. Prince Harry wore a dark blue waistcoat with a sky blue motif tie while his friend Jake wore a cream waistcoat with a baby blue block patterned tie.

Just to help you out even more we have put together what we think would be the perfect outfit for you. Why not wear our royal blue paisley tie, royal blue cufflinks and royal blue pocket square. The colour is very fitting to the occasion and looks extremely smart and polished.  You could wear them with this black slim fit suit jacket  and navy blue trousers for a  great smart casual look.
